BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION JOBS: SENIOR AND JUNIOR POSITIONS AT GODSTAR ENGINEERING

Due to expansion and recent State project awards, a wholly independent and well established multi-disciplinary indigenous construction company is seeking for well qualified and experienced personnel who are responsible and capable of understanding/meeting clients’ needs and are used to working within a professional construction team to fill the underlisted positions:

1.         PROJECT SUPERVISORS:  Ref:  GEC/PS/001

Candidates must possess a degree or HND in Civil Engineering with minimum of 10 years post qualification experience as a Project Supervisor in a reputable construction company. Must be hardworking; possess drive and energy with good leadership qualities and COREN & NSE registered. Ability to use Microsoft Project is a must. Age: 35 – 45

2.         BUILDING  ENGINEERS:  Ref:  GEC/BE/002

Candidates must possess a degree or HND in Building Engineering from a recognized institution and a member of your professional body with not less than 10 years post qualification experience. Ability to use Microsoft Project is a must.  Age:  30 – 40 years.

3.         HEAD, FINANCE/ADMIN:   Ref:  GEC/FA/003

Candidate must possess HND or B.Sc degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance. Must be ICAN/ACA and CIA Chartered. M.Sc or MBA will be an added advantage. Must have good knowledge of Banking practice and general administration.  A minimum of 15 years working experience.  Age: 35 – 45.

4.         ACCOUNTANT:   Ref:  GEC/AC/004

Candidate must be a graduate of Accounting. Must be ICAN and CITN Chartered.  He/She must be versed in Taxation, conversant with major accounting packages and a good knowledge of Financial and Cost Accounting. A minimum of 10 years practical working experience. Age:  35 – 40

5.         ACCOUNTS OFFICERS:  Ref:  GEC/AO/005

Candidates must be graduates of Accounting and should be conversant with major accounting packages. A good knowledge of Financial and Cost Accounting are prerequisite for this position. 3 years hands on experience in the Construction sector will be an added advantage. Age: 28 – 35 years

6.         QUALITY CONTROL OFFICER/LAB TECHNICIAN:  Ref: GEC/QC/006

A minimum qualification of HND or B.Sc. degree in Geotechnics/Concrete Laboratory Testing. Must have a minimum of 5 years cognate experience in road construction and building industry. Age: 30 – 40 years.

7.         ARCHITECTS:   Ref:  GEC/ARC/007

HND/B.Sc/M.Sc in Architecture. Must be computer literate with proficiency in AudoCAD design, 3D Max and other Architectural software. At least 6 years experience.  Age: 30 – 40 years.

8.         ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANTS: Ref: GEC/ADM/008

Candidate must have B.Sc/HND in Business Administration, Management or any relevant social sciences. At least 3 years experience. Age: 28 – 35

9.         SECRETARY/RECEPTIONIST:  Ref:  GEC/SEC/009

At least HND in Secretarial Studies and must be highly skillful in Computer e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Corel Draw.  A person with good character and have the ability to work without supervision. Must have 3 years experience.  Age: 28 – 35.

10.       CORPORATE DRIVERS:  Ref:  GEC/DRV/010

The candidate must be honest, amiable and of gentle character, possesses valid driver’s license. Good knowledge of Nigeria roads. Must have 3 years experience in a reputable company. Age: 28 – 35 years.
